Potter Senate President Thirty-Sixth Legislature of the Virgin Islands Capitol Building St. Thomas, Virgin Islands 00802 Re: Nomination of Lynton Scotland– Governing Board of the Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority Dear Mr. President: In accordance with the provisions of Title 30, Chapter 5 § 103 of the Virgin Islands Code, I hereby nominate Mr. Lynton Scotland to serve as a member of the Governing Board of the Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority (WAPA). Accordingly, it is my pleasure to ask for the advice and consent of the Thirty-Sixth Legislature of the Virgin Islands on the nomination of Mr. Lynton Scotland. When Mr. Scotland is confirmed by the Legislature, he will replace Mr. Lionel Selwood and serve as Mr. Selwood’s successor. His resume and questionnaire are enclosed for your review. I respectfully urge the Legislature to take timely action to advance this nomination to prevent any delays in the official functions of the Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority.
