ACTNO, 781 BILL NO. 31-0181 THIRTY-FIRST LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2015 An Act appropriating $100,000 to the Virgin Islands Police Department for the fiscal year October 1, 2015, to September 30, 2016; amending Act No. 7758 by reducing the V.I. Police Department’s personnel and fringe benefits budget; and making a $100,000 appropriation to the V.1. Police Department for deposit into the Criminal Investigation Bureau Imprest Fund aua(e-- Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. The sum of $100,000 is appropriated in the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2015, and ending September 30, 2016, from the General Fund to the Virgin Islands Police Department to replenish the Criminal Investigation Bureau Imprest Fund used by the Department’s Criminal Investigation Bureau for witness protection, transportation of witnesses and suspects in and out of the territory, to provide safe houses and pay rewards. SECTION 2. (a) Act No. 7758, section 1, paragraph S is amended by striking “$49,955,630” and inserting “$49,855,630”. …
