BYLAWS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Section 6 - Rules: General parliamentary rules such as Roberts Rules of Order, as may be modified by rules and regulations of the Board, shall be observed in conducting meetings of committees of the Board. Section 7 - Quorum: A quorum shall consist of a majority of the membership of the committee. Section 8 - Notice of Meetings: (a) Advance notice of all committee meetings shall be sent out by the committee chair or on the chairs behalf, to each member of the committee by delivering written notice personally, by mail, facsimile, email or by telegram so as to reach each member at his or her last known address at least five calendar days prior to the date of the meeting.
