COMMITTEE ON BUDGET, APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE BILL NO. 36-0198 Thirty-Sixth Legislature of the Virgin Islands October 27, 2025 An act amending Act No. 9035 by redesignating the funding source for several entities and correcting a typographical error and amending Act No. 9045 by inserting and striking appropriations PROPOSED BY: Senator Kurt A. Vialet Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: 1 SECTION 1. Act No. 9035 is amended as follows: 2 (a) In in Section 1, Item T by inserting an “*” after “IAA ATHLETIC PROGRAM” 3 and “INTERSCHOLASTIC SPORTS”; and 4 (b) in C/CNTR MISCELLANEOUS ORGANIZATIONS FY 2026 as follows: 5 (1) By inserting after “DHS YOUTH ARISE, INC* $5,000” the following: 6 DOA Humane Society STT $175,000 7 DOA R.E.A.L. Cats Spay/Neuter Program $ 22,500 8 DOA RUFF Start Spay/Neuter Program $ 22,500 9 DOA St. Croix Animal Welfare Center Spay/Neuter Program $ 50,000 10 DOA St. John Animal Welfare Center Spay/Neuter Program $ 20,000 11 DOA St. Thomas Humane Society Spay/Neuter Program $ 50,000 12 DOA STJ Animal Care Center $ 50,000 13 DOA St. …
