ACT NO. 6929 BILL NO. 27-0060 TWENTY-SEVENTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2007 An Act making an appropriation for payment salary increases to classified government employees; amending 4 V.I.C., chapter 8 relating to the appointment of magistrate judges; 19 V.I.C., chapter 1, adding §2003 establishing the Public Cemetery Fund; 24 V.LC., §304 relating to eligibility for unemployment benefits; 27 V.L.C., §50b relating to the qualification of physician assistants; 34 V.I.C., §41 relating to assistance for seniors with disabilities and other health-related needs; and providing for other appropriations and purposes ---0--- Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. There is appropriated in the fiscal year ending September 30, 2007, from any available funds in the Treasury of the Virgin Islands, such sum as is sufficient to implement the payment of salary increases for classified government employees.
