Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa- 1 tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2 SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3 This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Virgin Islands Na- 4 tional Park Land Acquisition Act of 2010’’. 5 SEC. 2. ACQUISITION AUTHORITY; BOUNDARY ADJUST- 6 MENT; ADMINISTRATION. 7 (a) IN GENERAL.—Subject to subsection (b), the Sec- 8 retary of the Interior (Secretary) is authorized to acquire 9 by donation approximately 3 acres of land located at 6S 10 VerDate Mar 15 2010 03:48 Sep 15, 2010 Jkt 089200 PO 00000 Frm 00001 Fmt 6652 Sfmt 6201 E:\BILLS\H6114.IH H6114 smartinez on DSKB9S0YB1PROD with BILLS 2 •HR 6114 IH Hansen Bay and known as Pleasant Lookout, in St. John, 1 U.S. Virgin Islands, as generally depicted on the map enti- 2 tled ‘‘lllllllll’’, numbered 3 lllllllll, and dated lllllllll. 4 (b) CONDITION FOR ACQUISITION.—The Secretary 5 may acquire the property identified in this Act only if the 6 Secretary determines that the addition of the property to 7 the Virgin Islands National Park would contribute to the 8 range of natural, cultural, or historic resources that the 9 park protects and makes available for the benefit of the 10 public. 11 (c) AVAILABILITY OF MAP.—The map referred to in 12 subsection (a) shall be on file and available for inspection 13 in the appropriate offices of the National Park Service. 14 (d) BOUNDARY ADJUSTMENT; ADMINISTRATION.— 15 Land acquired pursuant to this Act shall be added to the 16 Virgin Islands National Park and the boundary of the 17 park shall be adjusted accordingly.
