pecan EE MEENA REREAD EON PRIN ICES OLE SSO REI ASAE NINES NO IEA RAE ETT HEE ACTNO, 7058 BILL NO. 27-0265 TWENTY-SEVENTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2008 An Act amending title 33 V.ILC, chapter 4, section 72 relating to exemptions for the Highway User’s Tax and title 20, chapters 32, 33, 35 and 51 relating to the Bureau of Motor Vehicles and amending Act 6480 relating to the moratorium on the issuance of taxi medallions ---0--- Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. Title 33 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 4, section 72 is amended after “except” by inserting the following language: “a non-profit organization engaged in first responder emergencies related to health or life”. SECTION 2. Title 20 Virgin Islands Code, is amended in the following instances: (a) Chapter 32 is amended by striking “Department” wherever it appears and inserting in its place, “Bureau of Motor Vehicles”; (b) Chapter 33, section 336 (b) is amended by striking “not previously licensed in the Virgin Islands”. …
