( REPORTS FROM COLLEGE OFFICERS REGARDING THE GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT OF BASTC PROGRAMS (Board of Trustees Meeting, June 18, 1972) The President explained that he believed it was timely to begin a series of reports to the Board of Trustees by those College people most responsible for these programs. He felt this would have a salutary effect in opening up to the Board achievements and problems of which they would wish to be aware and would also provide members of the faculty and administration with an oppor-— tunity to talk directly with the Board about their areas of responsibility. The President indicated that he felt positively enough about this approach that he intended to follow this avenue over a period of several meetings of the Board—-if the Board were willing.
