ACTNO. 7848 BILL NO. 31-0163 THIRTY-FIRST LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2016 An Act amending title 23 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 3, section 125 relating to the penalty for damaging public streets, roads or other places Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. Title 23 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 3, subchapter III, section 125 is amended by designating the existing provisions as subsection (a) and adding subsection (b), which reads as follows: “(b) A violator of any provision of subsection (a) is subject to a fine of not more than $1,000 and shall pay all costs associated with the repair of the damage the violator caused to the public street, road, or place.” Thus passed by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands on February 25, 2016.
