ACTNO. %691 BILL NO. 30-0492 THIRTIETH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2014 An Act appropriating funds for the operating expenses of the Legislature of the Virgin Islands for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2015 ---0--- Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. There is appropriated from the General Fund of the Treasury of the Virgin Islands to the Legislature of the Virgin Islands in the fiscal year ending September 30, 2015, the sum of $19,000,000 for operating expenses and $2,000,000 for capital projects. Section 2. Title 2 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 5, section 76 is amended by striking “total” in the five instances where it appears before “budget” and by inserting “operating” in its place and in subsection (c) after “committee” at the end of the last sentence by inserting the “ following: “, except that the committee chairs of the Rules and Finance committees or their successor committees shall each receive a total allotment not to exceed 1% of the operating budget. …
