Oman, Gov- | ernor of the Virgin Islands of the United States, do hereby designate the afore- said date for observanmce as a day o°f | thanksgiving and prayer by the people# ‘throughout the islands, inviting them to } cease on that day from their ordinary tasks and to unite in their homes and in l their several places of worship in aserib- | ing praise and thanksgiving to God the | Author of all blessings and the Master l of our destinies. | IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have | hereunto set my hand and caused the ’ sedl of the Government to be fixed. | Done at St. Thomas this sixteenth day ' of November, in the year of our Lord, ] one thongand nine hundred and twenty. | ; J.
