ACTNO.87 85 BILL NO. 35-0048 THIRTY-FIFTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2023 An Act amending title 3 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 27, section 719(b), requiring the Government Employees Retirement System to send each active member an annual report of contributions by United States Postal Service mail or by electronic means, at the members option ---0--- Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. Title 3 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 27, section 719, subsection (b) is amended in the following instances by: (1) _ inserting “active” before “member”; (2) _ striking “and annuitant by U.S. mail”; and (3) adding a sentence at the end of the subsection to read as follows: “The member has the option to select to receive the annual statement by United States Postal Service mail or by electronic means.” Thus passed by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands on November 14, 2023.
