(809) 793-6555 *64825* 64825 MONTHLY PROGRESS REPORT NO. 35 March 23, 1993 RE: Tutu Well Site Administrative Orders Nos. II - CERCLA-00401 and RCRA-90-UST-9003-4001 I. Work to Date 1. Water provided for the affected homes thru Chuck Kline Water Delivery Company. 2. Results of previous sampling events sixth and seventh is being distributed to Well owners during the week of March 22,1993. Copies of transmittal letters are attached to this report. 3. Draft of escrow account document prepared and circulated to TEIC and L1Henry legal counsels for comments. II Work Schedule for next month 1. Continue providing Water to affected homes. 2. Eight sampling event to be conducted from March 29 thru April 2, 1993. NOTE; The TEIC members and L1 Henry, Inc. have been discussing recently with EPA representatives the adequacy of providing water to the affected residences of the Tutu area via tank trucks in a continuous basis, as needed, in lieu of constructing water line connections to the households. An escrow account, or a similar financial instrument, will most likely be established to guarantee the availability of the necessary funds to pay the pertinent water trucking company for the water deliveries.
