Question 2: If viNGN will not provide ‘the lowest corresponding price for the VI Department: of Education, will you —— allow alternative ‘methods (microwave, coax, satellite, etc.) to connect the schools to the WAN that provides 99. 999% uptime? VIDE’s Response: In accordance with USAC E-Rate rules and regulations, all bids submitted, in compliance with local procurement regulations, will be carefully: considered and the bid selected will be: the most cost-effective service or equipment offering, with price being the primary factor, and will be the most cost-effective means of meeting VIDE’s educational needs and technology plan goals
