AFTERNOON OF THE GREEN COMMITTEE ∗ ∗ ∗ ∗ ∗ UVI VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR SCHOLARSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT Send to: UVI - Office of Institutional Advancement #2 John Brewers Bay St. Thomas, VI 00802 ▪ UVI Faculty, Administrators and Staff are encouraged to submit their non- student nominee for consideration for this award. The award is intended to recognize an individual who has contributed substantially (minimum of 50 hours during the past 12 months) to UVI or the local community. ▪ In addition to providing basic information on the nominee, the person submitting the nomination needs to provide specific verifiable details regarding how the person’s contribution has/is impacting the quality of services at the respective organization. ▪ This scholarship is valued at $1000 and can be used towards tuition at UVI or UVI Community Engagement and Lifelong Learning (UVI-CELL) during the 2012-2013 academic year, or the proceeds can be donated towards the recipient’s non-profit organization of choice within the community. The scholarship is not transferable and cannot be converted to cash.
