Upon the arrival of the responding officers, they learned that a female was shot by Mr. Calvin Parker. Members of the Criminal Investigation Bureau responded and made contact with members of the community who reported that Calvin Parker had an argument with the victim. That Mr. Parker became enraged and shot the victim in the chest. The victim was transported to the Governor Juan F. Luis Hospital for medical assistance where she remains in stable condition. …

Upon the arrival of the responding officers, they learned that a female was shot by Mr. Calvin Parker. Members of the Criminal Investigation Bureau responded and made contact with members of the community who reported that Calvin Parker had an argument with the victim. That Mr. Parker became enraged and shot the victim in the chest. The victim was transported to the Governor Juan F. Luis Hospital for medical assistance where she remains in stable condition. A wanted all points bulletin on Calvin Parker was aired via the 911 Emergency Call Center and public outlets. Thereafter, on June 6, 2023, at approximately 12:45 a.m., Calvin Parker turned himself in to the Wilbur H. Francis Command Police Station. Calvin Parker, age 24, was advised of his Miranda Rights; he was placed under arrest without incident. Parker is charged with Attempted Murder in the First Degree, Reckless Endangerment in the First Degree, Assault in the First Degree, Carrying of firearm openly or concealed, aiming, and discharging a firearm. He was booked and his bail was set at $100,000.00 as per chart. Calvin Parker was unable to post bail and was transported to the John Bell Correctional Facility pending his Advice of Rights Hearing at the Superior Court on June 7, 2023. ###
