RESILIENCY This recovery is reflected in employment, business activity, and visitor arrivals which generally are improving since late 2020. Looking forward, higher economic growth is anticipated in 2022, with medium-term growth rates gradually back to averages of about 2% annually. OUTLOOK However, the new wave of COVID-19 infections presents near-term downside risks, although large-scale business shutdowns similar to 2020 are not expected.
