‘ACT NO.6613 BILL NO. 25-0103 TWENTY-FIFTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS OF THE UNITED STATES Special Session 2003 To amend Title 22, Chapter 25, Virgin Islands Code, by adding a new section that will exempt insurers providing health and life insurance coverage to the Government of the Virgin Islands from the payment of premium taxes ---(--- BE IT ENACTED by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. Title 22, Chapter 25, Virgin Islands Code, is amended by adding section 603A to read as follows: “§603A. Contracts for health and/or life insurance procured by the Government of the Virgin Islands pursuant to the provisions of Title 3, Chapter 25, Subchapter VIII, Virgin Islands Code, shall be exempt from the payment of premium tax requirements as provided in section 603 of this chapter.” Thus passed by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands on September 29, 2003. gq [b- Witness our Hands and the Seal of the Legislature of the Virgin Islands this Dd f Day of September, A.D., 2003.
