LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS CERTIFICATE OF ENACTMENT NOTWITHSTANDING THE GOVERNOR’S VETO THIS IS TO CERTFY THAT Bill No. 29-0305, An Act to change the date of primary election to be in compliance with the Military and Overseas Voter Empowerment Act and for other related purposes, enacted by the Twenty-Ninth Legislature at its regular session on April 20, 2012, (a copy of which is attached hereto) and vetoed by the Governor on May 14, 2012, was duly enacted, by override, by the Twenty-Ninth Legislature at its regular session on May 31, 2012, pursuant to section 9(d) of the Revised Organic Act of the Virgin Islands, 48 U.S.C. §1575 (d), notwithstanding the Governor’s veto and has become law.
