BIDDERS MUST ACKNOWLEDGE RECEIPT OF THIS AMENDMENT WITH THEIR BID PROPOSAL. Amendment# I RFP-025-T-2019 (P) Installation of a Fully Accessible & Inclusive Playground Page2 Questions and Answers: 1. Question: What type of business would we be applying in order to get a Virgin Islands Business License? Do we have to be a Certified Contractor to participate on this RFP? Response: A valid VI General Contractors license would be required. The requirements lo obtain a VT General Contractors license may be obtained from the Virgin Islands Department of Licensing and Consumer Affairs. Their website address is as follows: http://www.dlca.vi.gov/ 2. Question: We respectfully request a site visit to see each school, St. Thomas (3) and St. Croix (3), to measure the use zones where you would like the inclusive playgrounds installed and see what additional work has to be done to comply with your requests. Since July 23rd is the last day for questions per RFP-025-T-2019 {P) we propose the following dates: • St. Thomas - site visit July 22nd (3 schools) • St. Croix - site visit July 23rd (3 schools) Response: Unfortunately. the Department will be unable to accommodate the Respondent on those days. The Department proposes the following dates for site visits: • St. Thomas - site visit July 30, 2019 • St. Croix - site visit July 31, 2019 Additionally, to allow for sufficient time to pose questions as a result of the site visit, the Department proposes extending the last day for written clarification and the due date for aJI responses as follows: 1. Last day for request for written clarification to Friday, August 2, 2019 at 12 noon Atlantic Standard Time. 2. Proposals will be accepted at the Department of Property and Procurement, no later than Friday, August 9, 2019 at 4:00 o'clock p.m. Atlantic Standard Time.
