On August 14, 2018, the Department allocated the remaining $779,217,000 funds to the USVI in response to Hurricanes Irma and Maria. On February 27, 2019, the Department approved the USVi’s revised Action Plan Amendment for Community Development Block Grant disaster recovery (CDBG-DR) funds appropriated under the Further Additional Supplemental Appropriations for Disaster Relief Requirements Act, 2018 (Public Law 115-123). This grant award will be administered under grant number B- 18-DP-78-0001. The date that the Department signs the grant agreement is the date on which the funds are obligated. …
