Johnson 3022 Estate Golden Rock Christiansted St. Croix, VI 00820 Dear Senator Johnson: Thank you for your question/inquiry about the availability of a soil testing service for farmers offered by the UVI School of Agriculture during our Testimony on the State of Agriculture in the Virgin Islands yesterday. After further investigation, I have verified and confirmed that we are no longer offering that service. The facilities were destroyed during the hurricanes Irma and Maria, and we were unable to rebuild them. I would like to thank you for the opportunity to investigate this matter and report back to you with the correct answer to your question.
