ACTNQ. 8381 BILL NO. 33-0375 THIRTY-THIRD LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2020 An Act amending Act No. 8243 relating to appropriating $15,000,000 from the General Fund to the Waste Management Authority to pay outstanding debts to the waste haulers and landfill operators ---0--- Be it enacted Lw the Legislature ofthe Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. Act No. 8243 is amended by striking all instances of “$24,052,846” and replacing it with “$39,052,846”. SECTION 2. The sum of$ 15,000,000 is appropriated from the General Fund to the Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2020, for outstanding vendor payments to waste haulers and landfill operators. SECTION 3. (a) Not later than 10 days after enactment of this act, the Waste Management Authority shall submit a list of all waste haulers and landfill operators owed outstanding vendor payments along with the debt amount for each hauler and operator to the Office of Management and Budget. …
