s/AWCJR AMENDMENT TO BILL NO. 36-0023 Offered by Senator Ray Fonseca Bill No. 36-0023 is amended as follows: (a) Redesignate sections 2 and 3 as sections 3 and 4 and insert the following section 2: “SECTION 2. Fifty percent of the funds collected under section 1 of this act shall be deposited into the District Public Road Fund established under 33 V.I.C. § 3002 as follows: (1) 20% to the St. Croix Public Road Account; (2) 20% to the St. Thomas Public Road Account; (3) 7% to the St. John Public Road Account; and (4) 3% to the Water Island Public Road Account. The remaining fifty percent balance shall be deposited into the General Fund of the Treasury of the Government of the Virgin Islands.” Amendment No. 36-313/March 18, 2025/KEH
