ACTNO. 8691 BILL NO. 34-0350 THIRTY-FOURTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2022 An Act amending title 3 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 1, section 27, relating to the Virgin Islands Commission on Youth, to reduce the number of members on the Commission from eleven to nine and to change the age requirements for membership on the Commission; appropriating $50,000 from the V.I. Education Initiative Fund for the initial operating expenses of the Commission; and providing for other related purposes ---0--- Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. Title 3 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 1, section 27 is amended in the following instances: (a) Subsection (a) is amended— “ “ (1) Inthe second sentence by striking “an eleven” and inserting “a nine”; (2) In the third sentence by striking “under” and inserting “between”, striking “age” and inserting “ages”, striking “22” and inserting “14-24” and inserting “or a person with a disability who shows interest” after “St. …
