ACT NO, %81<« BILL NO. 31-0172 THIRTY-FIRST LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2015 An Act amending title 17 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 9 establishing a day-time curfew and for other purposes o--()--- Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. Title 17 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 9 is amended as follows: (a) Section 86, subsection (d) is amended by striking “assists, abets or knowingly” and by striking “$25” and inserting “$100”; (b) Section 88 is amended in subsection (a) by striking “$25” and inserting “$100” and in subsection (b) by striking “$10” and inserting “$100” and by striking “$25” and inserting “$500”; and (c) Section 89 is amended as follows: (1) By striking the language in the first unnumbered paragraph and inserting the following language to be designated as subsection (a): “(a) Any child of compulsory school age, who is found anywhere other than on the school’s premises in which the child is enrolled, during school hours, without an acceptable excuse having been furnished by a parent or guardian to the appropriate school offic …
