ACTNO, 7860 BILL NO. 31-0141 THIRTY-FIRST LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2016 An Act amending the Virgin Islands Code, title 14, section 2251 and title 243, sections 451 and 454 relating lo persons authorized to carry an electric weapon or device Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. Title 14 Virgin Islands Code, Chapter 113, §2251 is amended in the following instances: (1) Subsection (a) is amended in paragraph (1) by striking “electric weapon or device”; (2) Subsection (b) is amended by striking “electric weapon or device” means any device which, through the application or use of electric current, including battery operated devices, is designed, redesigned, used, or intended to be used for offensive or defensive purposes, the destruction of life, or the infliction of injury”; and (3) Subsection (c) is amended after “duties” by adding “or persons licensed to carry an electric weapon or device. …
