COMMITTEE ON DISASTER RECOVERY AND INFRASTRUCTURE BILL NO. 36-0325 Thirty-Sixth Legislature of the Virgin Islands July 21, 2026 An act authorizing the Commissioner of the Virgin Islands Department of Public Works, on behalf of the Government of the Virgin Islands, to accept into the public road system the roads in Estate Cane, St. Croix PROPOSED BY: Senator Novelle E. Francis, Jr. Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: 1 SECTION 1. Pursuant to title 20 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 1, section 3a, the 2 Commissioner of the Virgin Islands Department of Public Works, on behalf of the Government 3 of the Virgin Islands, shall accept into the public road system the roads in Estate Cane, St. Croix. 4 BILL SUMMARY 5 This bill authorizes the Government of the Virgin Islands to accept into the public road 6 system the roads in Estate Cane, St. Croix. 7 BR26-1112/June 17, 2026/SLR/Revised July 8, 2026/SLR 8
