I.OCAL We have been informed that the Na- tive Brass Band will give a concert on the Wharf tonight in honor of its 14th Anniversary today, on which occasion we e..tend our congratulations to Band master Jackson and the members of the band. Tkeir services to the public is much appreciated and we wish the band all prosperity. The funeral of Miss Anita Bishop yes- terday afternoon, was well attended by a respectable gathering. Rev. J.C. Peder- sen of Frederiksted officiated, and a brief sketch of the life of the deceased, her work in the kindergarten school and in the church where bright hopes were entertained for her and in which she will be greatly .missed, was given by Mr. R. Me Farlane, clerk of the Luther- an Church, rederiksted. The District Court opens in Christiar - sted at 10 o’clock to-morrow rorning and in Frederiksted on FKriday morning at the same hour. A very enjoyable evenicg was spent at the Christiansted Theatre last night where a very pretty drama entitled "' Lre Greatest Love’’ was screened. Readers are reminded of the show to come off at St. Mary's Hall this evening where we are told a great treat awaits them. TELEGRAMS. ST. CROIX STATION.
