1 Greenwater tank – 200 m3 • Stocked with 5,000 fingerlings • Produces 5,000 lbs. every 6 months • Requires daily feeding, aeration and solids removal 2 Clarifier and base addition tank • Solids removed in 500 gallon conical bottom clarifier • 1/3 HP circulating pump used • pH maintained at 7.5 with daily addition of Ca(OH)2 3 Denitrifying tanks • Future research for management of nitrate by anaerobic processes.
