She stated that just before 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, February 19, 2023, while she was driving to work, unbeknownst to her, he was hiding behind the front seat and surprised her when he jumped over the seat and pulled a firearm and demanded that she drive to a Frederiksted beach. She was able to talk him out of it and he allowed her to go to work with instructions that she does not tell anyone or else he was going to kill her and he would be awaiting her return. She anguished over her ordeal and subsequently reported what was going on to an officer. Mr. Johnny Taylor, age 39, was arrested in downtown Frederiksted with minor incident. He was charged with Abduction, Assault Third and Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm. No bail was set as per the Domestic Violence statue and he was remanded to John Bell Correctional Facility pending his advised of rights hearing. ###
