Virgin Islands Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research VI-EPSCoR’s ANNUAL CONFERENCE 2015 Title of Conference “Mare Nostrum Caribbean” (“Our Caribbean Sea”) –Programs and Partnerships” Date(s) of Conference Tuesday May 26, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. and Wednesday, May 27, 2015 (There will be an optional field trip on Thursday May 28, 2015) Location The Renaissance St. Croix Carambola Beach Resort, St. Croix, USVI. Purpose of the Conference To introduce the various components of this project to the St. Croix community while highlighting existing partnerships and exploring opportunities for new ones. Hotel Rates $139.00 for participants booked and paid for through VI-EPSCoR; $179.00 for all others (Rate is applicable 3 days prior to the conference date, and 3 days after) Conference Activities There will be a cocktail meet and greet event on the evening of May 26 from 6:30 p.m. so you should plan to arrive on St. Croix in time for that. There is also an optional half-day field trip on Thursday morning, May 21 to Salt River and possibly one other location. …
