Please provide the quantity of VCT tile to be removed? 2,853 s.f of VCT tiles are to be removed. See Item #6. 2. Is the project to be done in phases, is it possible to provide a phasing plan or number of phases expected? This will affect the overall project duration and resources needed. The project will be done in Four phases. Attorney General’s Suite is Phase 1. Solicitor General Suite is Phase 2. Special Investigation Suite is Phase 3. Criminal Division Suite is Phase 4. Please provide an allowance cost for the porcelain and ceramic tile materials including applicable taxes and shipping cost? (The allowance for the 20x20 tiles will vary between $3 to $6 per square foot) Please provide submittal for approval. 6. Please provide Brand and model number for the lockset in the picture on page 8 of the IFB? (Master lock Dallas #154) 7. Please clarify if the size for the vision lites in line items 7 and 9? See Description Item # 10. (7”x 22” lite Kit (5” x 20” Exposed Glass) . (See Description item # 12 Full View) 8. Is a master Key system required for the doors? If yes, is it a single master or will submasters be required? YES, a Master Key for all Divisions and (4) Sub-Master Keys for each Division. 9. Are all doors Keyed individually? YES 10. Please confirm that all work must be done at night (After 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM). The work will be performed at regular office hours in the daytime. 11. Please confirm that all rooms will be vacated and available when work is scheduled to begin. Each Suite/ Zone will be vacated to accommodate the work. Please confirm that as furniture is removed from a room it can be stored in another room until the room being worked on is complete. Yes, all furniture will be stored in another area until the work is complete. The Contractor is responsible for moving the furniture as per Line Item #2. 13. Please confirm that all filing cabinets will be removed to another area and replaced when both flooring and painting work is complete. Yes, all filing cabinets will be stored in another area until the work is complete. The Contractor is responsible for moving the filing cabinets as per Line Item #2. 14. Please confirm that all doors, jams, and window trim require painting and not staining. Painted only not stained. 15. Please confirm that the Quantity for Items 10 & 12 of the Bid Schedule is for sets of hinges. Please utilize the quantity as noted for the line items. 16. Please provide the room list as stated in Item 10 of the scope of work with all surfaces to receive paint defined and type of tile flooring per room. Paint all office walls. Only the Attorney General’s Office Suite will be Porcelain Tile. All other Suites will be Ceramic Tile. 17. Please confirm that all base will be removed and replaced with 4” Burgundy Rubber Cove Base per scope of work. Yes, all will be replaced with Vinyl Cove Base. 18. Clarification of Baseboards--vinyl vs wood. Not on SOW/Bid Schedule. There are no Wood Base Boards, only Vinyl to be installed. 19. Will all double doors be replaced with solid wood? There were two sets of metal doors--one was NOT going to be replaced. Clarification if the first one encountered on the tour was going to be replaced or repainted only. The first solid door is the Special Investigation Division’s door. That will be painted. The Attorney General’s Suite door will be replaced. 20. Will all doors have windows? If not, please specify which will or will not have windows. Yes, all doors will have Sidelites. 21. Please correct ceramic vs porcelain tiles on SOW/Bid Schedule. Noted. Please see the updated Bid Schedule. 22. Doors existing are wood but with metal frames. Please specify if you want the frames changed out as well or only the doors. Keep all metal frames and replace the doors only. Paint metal frames. Only the Mahogany Doors will have a Mahogany Frame. ALL OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS REMAIN UNCHANGED. BIDDERS MUST ACKNOWLEDGE RECEIPT OF THIS AMENDMENT WITH THEIR BID PROPOSAL.
