Dear Ms. Kwan: This letter is a confirmation of a telephone conference call on Friday, March 18, 1994, between Ana Gloria Ramos, Paul Ryan, Thomas Danahy, Sarah Odland, and yourself. The purpose of this call was to discuss Geraghty & Miller, Inc.'s proposal to sample the Delegarde supply well instead of installing Monitoring Well MW-23D and to discuss the relocation of Monitoring Wells MW-20 and MW-20D. Geraghty & Miller's request regarding the Delegarde supply well and Monitoring Well MW-23D was transmitted in a letter dated March 10, 1994 to you. Since you agreed the Delegarde well is an acceptable alternative, Geraghty & Miller will not need to install Monitoring Well MW-23D. The main purpose of the MW-20 and MW-20D Monitoring Well pair will be to delineate groundwater flow directions with respect to the surface drainage basin east of Vitelco along J Route 382 and to evaluate volatile organic compound (VOC) concentration in the groundwater at this location. As an alternative, the Tracy Dodd Used Car Lot was selected, with the intent of placing Monitoring Wells MW-20 and MW-20D at the southwest corner of the property. This new location will fulfill the original purpose of the well pair and will provide easier physical access. Since you have agreed to the proposed relocation of this well pair, Geraghty & Miller will proceed with attempts to gain legal access for this revised location. We would appreciate written confirmation of your approval of these changes to the Phase II RI scope of work. If you have any further questions or comments, please feel free to call.
