ACENO, 7222 BILL NO. 28-0287 TWENTY-EIGHTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2010 An Act appropriating monies for salaries and expenses of the University of the Virgin Islands for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2011, and for other purposes Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. The sum of $28,984,056 or as much as may be necessary, is appropriated from any available funds in the Treasury of the Virgin Islands to the University of the Virgin Islands Fund for expenditure by the University of the Virgin Islands during the fiscal year ending September 30, 2011, for the purposes named in this section in accordance with the provisions of title 17, chapters 33 and 35, Virgin Islands Code: (a) for salaries, including pay for regular and temporary employees; salary increases; employer's FICA and retirement contributions; overtime compensation of hourly rated employees; books, magazines, teaching materials and audio-visual supplies; equipment and supplies for offices, classrooms, laboratories, library, student and faculty lodgings; recreational …
