ACTNO.8 82 1 BILL NO. 35-0184 THIRTY-FIFTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2024 An Act honoring and commending Viggo E. Sewer posthumously for his ultimate contribution to the Virgin Islands and renaming East End Road, on Route 10, on the island of St. John, in his honor ---0--- WHEREAS, the American Legion Post on St. John is named the Viggo E. Sewer Post No. 131 in honor of the veteran of the Korean Conflict; and WHEREAS, Viggo Edison Sewer was the second of eight children born to Anna Blyden Sewer and Felix Sewer, on May 5, 1932, on the island of St. John; and WHEREAS, Mr. Sewer attended the Benjamin Franklin Elementary School (now the Guy H. Benjamin Elementary School) in Coral Bay, St. John and later the Charlotte Amalie High School on St. Thomas; WHEREAS, he was an avid sports fan and enjoyed taking part in sports; and WHEREAS, Mr. …
