ACT NO.65 7 4 BILL NO. 25-0003 TWENTY-FIFTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS OF THE UNITED STATES Special Session 2003 To amend title 33, chapter 85, section 2402, subsection (b), Virgin Islands Code, to permit performance of the commercial property tax assesament for the years 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004 based on the 1999 assessment and requiring the initial biennial commercial property assessment be conducted in 2005 within the Territory -—(--- BE IT ENACTED by the Legislature of the Virgin Istands: SECTION 1, Title 33, chapter 85, section 2402, subsection (b), Virgin Islands Code, is amended at the end thereof by adding the following two sentences: “Notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, the commercial property assessment made in the year 1999 shall be the basis of computing commercial property taxes for the tax years 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004. …
