In person townhall schedule is below: • St. Thomas – Monday, March 4 at 6pm - UVI Innovation Center in the SBDC Training Room • St. John – Tuesday, March 5 at 6pm – Julius E Sprauve School Cafeteria • St. Croix – Friday, March 8 at 6pm - Sunny Isle Shopping Center in the Elections Office The CDBG-Mitigation Action Plan allocated $75 million for both programs, of which $40 million has been earmarked for Commercial Hardening and Financing, while $35 million is set aside for Small Business Mitigation (SBM) projects. Both programs are designed to eliminate or reduce operational down-time experienced by businesses affected by natural/manmade disasters. VIHFA has issued two Notices of Funding Availability (NOFA) for the Community Development Block Grant Mitigation (CDBG-MIT) which is subject to Housing and Urban Development (HUD) regulations 24 CFR § 570.202. Two virtual options are available for those who are unable to attend in person. Those interested participants for the virtual townhalls must register beforehand.
