September 19, 2019 AMENDMENT #1 – RFP-031-T-2019 (P) – Global Positioning System Vehicle Tracking Questions and Answers ALL OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS REMAIN UNCHANGED. BIDDERS MUST ACKNOWLEDGE RECEIPT OF THIS AMENDMENT WITH THEIR BID PROPOSAL. Questions and Answers: Question: Please provide the number of vehicles to be monitored for this implementation. The Volume Pricing indicates 1-50 vehicles and 50-100 vehicles per pg 12 (under Cost Proposal) of the solicitation. It was our understanding that the fleet was substantially larger and that plans were to monitor between 1000-1500 vehicles. Answer: We currently do not know the exact number of vehicles that will be monitored but base on the different packages amount we can make an inform decision. We currently have about 1400 vehicles in the fleet which include heavy and specialize equipment which would not be monitored. (like, from India or Canada) Yes, companies from abroad can submit a bid. 2. Whether we need to come over there for meetings? There may are components of the bid like training that require attendance in In the USVI. 3. Can we perform the tasks (related to RFP) outside USA? (like, from India or Canada) There may are components of the bid like training that require attendance in In the USVI. 4. Can we submit the proposals via email? Currently, we do not accept proposals via email.
