ACT NO. 6998 BILL NO. 27-0149 TWENTY-SEVENTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2008 An Act amending 20 V.I.C., chapter 45, section 555 as it relates to the limitation on recovery of non-economic damages in motor vehicle cases --0--- Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. Title 20 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 45, section 555, subsection (a), is amended by striking “seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000)” and inserting “$100,000”.
