ACT NO.63.°'¢ BILL NO. 24-0042 TWENTY-FOURTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS OF THE UNITED STATES Regular Session 2001 To transfer and dedicate the property formerly known as the Virgin Islands Hotel as a veterans multipurpose center and to authorize the Governor to exchange land for a public. cemetery and for other related purposes ---0--- BE IT ENACTED by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. In accordance with title 31, section 205, subsection (c) and section 231a, subsection (f) of the Virgin Islands Code, the approval of the Legislature is granted, and the Governor, on behalf of the Government of the Virgin Islands, may acquire by negotiation for an exchange of real property with Gordon L. Coffelt or with other owners, or may exercise the power of eminent domain to acquire that certain real property known as Parcel No. 19K Estate Smith Bay, Nos. 1, 2, and 3 East End Quarter, St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, consisting of 10:114 U.S; acres;-more or‘less?
