He attended the Christiansted Public Grammar School and Christiansted High School. Mr. Jacobs also attended the Lincoln University (PA) where he earned a B.A. in Psychology in 1963. He was drafted shortly thereafter and served two years in the U.S. Army until he was honorably discharged in 1966. Mr. Jacobs worked as a social worker for the Herbert Grigg Home for the Aged until 1968 and later for the Department of Health until the year 1978. He worked for the Department of Labor as a Safety and Health Compliance Officer from 1978. Mr. Jacobs retired in 1993 as the Assistant Director of the Division of Occupational Safety and Health. Stanley Jacob is the husband of Ms. Georgia Ann Gautier and the father of Xiomara and Xanthia Jacobs. He is a proud member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity and a member of the American Legion Post 85. Mr. Jacobs also serves as the President of the Stanley and the Ten Sleepless Knights Band in St. Croix.
