Officer EXECUTIVE SESSION Actions Taken in Executive Session • Received information regarding a legal matter concerning a task order issued to Kimley-Horn and Associates. No action was taken. • Authorized the Executive Director to explore the possibility of a public/private partnership to expand and modernize both CEKA and HERA. • Approved a change order to a contract between VIPA and AT Construction. PROJECTS COMMITTEE CEKA Taxiway Alpha West Reconstruction Report Accepted the bid proposed by Grace Civil LLC for the Cyril E. King Airport (CEKA) Taxiway Alpha West Reconstruction Project in the amount of $29,438,576.50. HERA Taxiway Alpha & Bravo Rehabilitation Accepted the bid proposed by Virgin Islands Paving, Inc. for the Henry E. Rohlsen Airport (HERA) Taxiway Alpha & Bravo Rehabilitation Project in the amount of $6,981,112.50. BioImpact, Inc. - Amendment No. 2 Approved Amendment No. 2 to an existing contract between BioImpact Inc. and VIPA for water quality monitoring, environmental monitoring, remediation sampling, and mitigation services at the Gordon A. Finch Molasses Pier on St. Croix in the not-to-exceed amount of $529,850. CEKA Airfield Pavement Markings - Task Order No. 37 Approved Task Order No. 37 issued to Kimley-Horn & Associates, VIPA’s Cyril E. King Airport (CEKA) aviation consultant, to provide a topographic survey and design services related to airfield pavement markings in the not- to-exceed amount of $100,000. Virgin Islands Port Authority August 9, 2022 Board Meeting Actions List Emergency Fencing Repairs Contract Authorized the Executive Director to enter into a contract with Julien Welding Service for a period of one year with an option to renew for two additional one-year periods to provide emergency fencing repairs at the VIPA’s aviation and marine properties in the St. Thomas/St. John District. CEKA Fire Hydrants Removal and Replacement Accepted the bid from Victor Fire Protection for the purchase and replacement of the fire hydrants surrounding the Cyril E.
