ACT NO, 7568 BILL NO. 30-0275 THIRTIETH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2013 An Act providing appropriations to the Department of Public Works for capital improvements and road repair and to the Waste Management Authority for a trash recycling center and sewage system maintenance on St. John from the St. John Capital Improvement Fund during the Fiscal Year October 1, 2013, through September 30, 2014 ---0)--- Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. There is appropriated from the St. John Capital Improvement Fund in the fiscal year ending September 30, 2014: qd) the sum of $500,000 to the Department Works for capital improvements, road maintenance, on the island of St. John, particularly the repair of storm- damaged roads on Route 10 in Coral Bay in anticipation of federal funding, or the development of alternative methods to ingress and egress Coral Bay; and (2) the sum of $1,000,000 to the V.I. Waste Management Authority for construction of a "convenience" trash recycling center and for sewage system maintenance on the island of St. John. …
