| rey BILL NO. 26-0029 TWENTY-SIXTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS OF THE UNITED STATES 2005 To appropriate $500,000 to the Pharmaceutical Assistance to the Aged Special Fund and for other purposes ---()--- BE IT ENACTED by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1 There is appropriated in the fiscal year ending September 30, 2006, from the General Fund of the Government of the Virgin Islands the sum of $500,000 to the Pharmaceutical Assistance to the Aged Special Fund as established in title 33 Virgin Islands Code, section 3073 to offset the costs associated with providing discounted prescription drugs to the elderly. These monies shall be available until expended. SECTION 2. Title 34 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 2 is amended in the following instances: 1. Section 41, subsection (a) is amended by striking “sixty-five (65) and inserting “60”, and by inserting the following language after the phrase “drugs,” “to provide for wellness and chronic disease education”; 2. …
