In order for Geraghty & Miller to perform the aquifer pumping tests, the Eglin supply wells will have to be shut off during the test period (see attached schedule). Geraghty & Miller is requesting the assistance of the Department of Planning and Natural Resources to contact the Eglin well owners regarding this subject. In addition, Geraghty & Miller is requesting the Eglin well owners to fill their cistern on the morning of Sunday, November 1, 1992, prior to the aquifer testing. …

Pump rate should have been preset on Friday (between 2 to 8 gpm). 11:30 - Sample influent to treatment system for field GC and lab analysis. 12:00 (noon) - Sample effluent for field GC and lab analysis. Continue to collect influent and effluent every 2 hours for field GC analysis. Measure complete round of water-levels (including data recorders with drop pipes and non-data recorder locations) on an hourly basis until 14 hours (12:00 midnight) into pump test. After 14 hours measure complete rounds every 2 hours. 9:00 - Sample influent and effluent for field GC and lab analysis. 10:00 - End of 24-hour test. If possible "step" recorder to record recovery. Stop pump and record recovery. 14:00 - Check recovery. If recovery is equal to or greater than 85 percent complete, remove data recorders.
