ACTNO, 750% BILL NO. 30-0184 THIRTIETH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2013 An Act reprogramming funds to provide a local match commerce construction on the Frederiksted Head Start project, funding for the Emergency Welfare Services and Indigent Burials, and to provide additional funding for the Energy Crisis Assistance Program (ECAP) ---0--- Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. Act No. 7414 is amended in Section 2 as follows: (a) On page 8 as follows: (1) In line item “NEW DHS- Energy Crisis Program” by striking “1,500,000” and inserting ‘1,800,000 (2) In line item “NEW DHS-Additional MAP Local Match” by striking “9,000,000” and inserting ‘7,600,000 and shall be available until expended”; and (b) By adding two new line items to read as follows: (1) “NEW DHS Frederiksted Head Start Local Match $1,000,000”. (2) “NEW DHS Emergency Welfare Services and Indigent Burials $100,000”. 2 Thus passed by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands on August 7, 2013. …
