Y., acting by and through Alfred Penn of Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, as is evidenced by Power of Attorney under her signature executed in the City and State of New York on July 12, 1943, which po- wer of Attorney is attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof, for and in consideration of the sum of $4000.00 United States currency, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have bargained, sold transferred and conveyed, and by these presents doth bargain, sell, tramsfer and convey unto the Munici- pality of St. Thomas and St. John, it successors and assigns, all of her right, title and interest in and to the following described real property, to wit: a (1) Estate ENIGHED, listed in the Recorder's Office as No.l Craz Bay Quarter, Island of St. John, containing 150 acres of land more or less; amd listed in the Public Surveyor's record as No. 14 Cruz Bay Quarter; and, 4 (2) Estate CONTANT , also known as Frankbay, listed in the Recorder's Office as No. 2 Cruz Bay, Island of St. John containing 150 acres of land, more or less; and listed e in the Public Surveyor's record as No. 1B Cruz Bay Quarter; together with all the ruims and buildings and improvements and Sind and privi- leges thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said granted premises unto the said grantee, its successors and assigns, in fee simple forever; I hereby warranting that the said premises are free and clear of any and all encumbrances except easement for the range light heretofore granted by me to the MUNICIPALITY OF ST. THOMAS AND ST. JOHN which easement is extinguished by this conveyance.
