THE VIRGIN ISLANDS POLICE DEPARTMENT “To Protect and Serve” Office of the Commissioner AAF Justice Complex, 5400 Veterans Drive St. Thomas, 00802 * (340) 774-2211 Administrative Services Building 45 Mars Hill, Frederiksted St. Croix, 00840 * (340) 778-2211 www.vipd.vi.gov VIPD RELEASE- 013023-037 For Immediate Media Distribution January 30, 2023 USVI’s Fourth Homicide at Bolongo St. Thomas, USVI - On Sunday, January 29, 2023, at 9:37 p.m., 911 received reports of several shots being fired in the area of Bolongo, St. Thomas. Responding officers arrived in the area and discovered one victim who appeared to have suffered multiple gunshot wounds. EMT’s arrived on the scene and concluded that the male did not have any vital signs. The deceased victim was identified as 31-year-old, Chandler Heath. Anyone having any information about this crime please contact the Virgin Islands Police Department at (340)774-2211 or Major Crimes Unit (340)714-5554/5555.
