ACTNO, 7145 BILL NO. 28-0158 TWENTY-EIGHT LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2009 An Act amending title 12A Virgin Islands Code enacting the Virgin Islands Uniform Debt Management Services Act ---0--- Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Island: SECTION 1. Title 12A Virgin Islands Code is amended by adding chapter 7 to read as follows: “CHAPTER 7 UNIFORM DEBT SERVICES MANAGEMENT §401. SHORT TITLE This chapter may be cited as the Virgin Islands Uniform Debt-Management Services §402. DEFINITIONS In this chapter: (1) “Affiliate”: (A) with respect to an individual, means: (i) the spouse of the individual; (ii) a sibling of the individual or the spouse of a sibling; (iii) | an individual or the spouse of an individual who is a lineal ancestor or lineal descendant of the individual or the *individual’s spouse; 2 (iv) an aunt, uncle, great aunt, great uncle, first cousin, niece, nephew, grandniece, or grandnephew, whether related by the whole or the half blood or adoption, or the spouse of any of them; or (v) any other individual occupying the residence of the indiv …
